Sycamore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lexington Tigers. That's two games straight that Sycamore have won by just one goal.

Dominik Gutierrez and Lucas Gehrke scored both of Sycamore's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Sycamore's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Lexington, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Sycamore will square off against Chester County on Thursday. Chester County will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Sycamore surely won't give up without a fight. Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
