Softball Recap: New Life Academy Eagles vs. Mayer Lutheran Crusaders
The New Life Academy Eagles lost 9-1 to the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders on Saturday.
Ashlyn Croon was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off nine hits. Like New Life Academy, Mayer Lutheran also got a great game from a two-way player: McKenzie Mitteness.
