Singer has gone 10-0 against Johnson Bayou recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Singer Hornets will host the Johnson Bayou Rebels at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Tuesday, Singer came up short against Starks and fell 73-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (64), the Hornets still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Johnson Bayou). They blew past South Cameron, posting an 85-27 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Johnson Bayou's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Singer, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 17-11-1.

Singer strolled past Johnson Bayou in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 50-36. Does Singer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Johnson Bayou turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
