Baseball Recap: Illinois Valley Comes Up Short

Illinois Valley lost against Bonanza on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars fell just short of the Antlers by a score of 14-13. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Illinois Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Bonanza, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Coming up, Illinois Valley will take on Bandon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Bonanza, they will host Riddle at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
