Meanwhile, Tattnall Square Academy came tearing into Friday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Vikings to the tune of 89-37. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 180th, while the Vikings are ranked 525th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tattnall Square Academy pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.8 points per game. As for Stratford Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Stratford Academy barely slipped by Tattnall Square Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 81-80. Will Stratford Academy repeat their success, or does Tattnall Square Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
