Softball Recap: Perkins Takes a Loss

Perkins fell victim to Norwalk and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Truckers. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Perkins got a good showing from Maycee Bohn, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

Perkins' defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Norwalk, their record now sits at 4-8.

Coming up, Perkins will venture away from home to face off against South Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Norwalk, they will welcome Firelands at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
