Basketball Recap: Heathwood Hall Episcopal Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Deuce Claxton and Tristen Mccleary

Heathwood Hall Episcopal lost against Hammond two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders took a 48-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hammond Skyhawks.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tristen McCleary, who made all 7 shots he took racking up 16 points, and Deuce Claxton, who posted 12 points. That was a full 37.2% of Heathwood Hall Episcopal's points, marking the third time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xander Pertile, who scored five points.

Heathwood Hall Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Hammond, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
