Baseball Game Preview: Jefferson Blue Jays vs. Brentwood Eagles

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Jefferson Blue Jays challenge Brentwood Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jefferson saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of West County by a score of 6-5. The Blue Jays haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Brentwood lost 10-4 to Clayton on Friday.

Brentwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Jefferson, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Jefferson came out on top in a nail-biter against Brentwood in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 4-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
