Volleyball Recap: Los Fresnos' Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Los Fresnos came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the San Benito Greyhounds 3-0. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Greyhounds, too.

While Los Fresnos won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-22.

Los Fresnos' victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for San Benito, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Los Fresnos and San Benito will both be playing Veterans Memorial the next time they take the court. The Falcons will host the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Greyhounds will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
