Basketball Recap: Mounds Takes a Loss

Mounds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Agra Bearcats on the road by a 54-39 margin. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 52-41 to the Bearcats when the teams met back in January of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mounds' defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Agra, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-12 record.

Mounds didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-24 loss against Wetumka on the 10th. As for Agra, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-39 defeat against Oilton on the 10th.
