The Pasco Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They took a 69-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Weeki Wachee. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pasco in their matchups with Weeki Wachee: they've now lost four in a row.

Pasco's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karson Mathis, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mathis has scored all season. TJ Gebru was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Pasco bumped their record down to 4-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Weeki Wachee, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.
