Basketball Recap: Muenster Skates Past Tioga with Ease

Muenster won the last time they faced Tioga and things went their way on Friday too. The Muenster Hornets simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tioga Bulldogs 48-13. That looming 48-13 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hornets yet this season.

Muenster found their leader in sophomore Jeremiah Franklin, who posted 18 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Franklin has scored all season. Maverick Bayer was another key player, putting up eight points.

Muenster is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Tioga, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Muenster will challenge Alvord at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tioga, they will square off against Collinsville at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tioga is facing Collinsville at the right time seeing as Collinsville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
