Volleyball Recap: Taylor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wyoming last Thursday, Taylor came back down to earth. The Yellowjackets lost 3-0 to the Elder Panthers on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.

Sam Henline paced Taylor's offense, picking up eight kills. Henline got some help from Jaxson Snell and his 15 assists.

Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Elder, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Taylor will welcome Indian Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elder, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Archbishop Alter on the 7th.
