Preview: Crestview Knights vs. Ada Bulldogs

Crestview is 7-0 against the Bulldogs since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Crestview Knights will look to defend their home court against the Ada Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

In what's become a running theme this season, Crestview gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 62-22 win over Shawnee. The victory was familiar territory for Crestview who now have three in a row.

It was another big night for Cali Gregory, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Crestview's points. Another player making a difference was Myia Etzler, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

Ada proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 20) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Upper Scioto Valley 48-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ada.

Crestview's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Ada, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Everything came up roses for Crestview against the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 53-26 victory. Will Crestview repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
