Basketball Recap: North Montgomery Takes a Loss

North Montgomery lost against Benton Central back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers fell 61-53 to the Benton Central Bison.

Despite the loss, North Montgomery still got an impressive performance from Cameron Enlow, who posted 15 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Enlow a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Colten Arnold, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points.

North Montgomery has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Benton Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10.

Coming up, North Montgomery will head out to take on Frankfort at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Benton Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tri-County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
