Basketball Recap: Cambridge Takes a Loss

Cambridge lost against Alma back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cambridge Trojans lost 53-33 to the Alma Cardinals.

Despite the loss, Cambridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elisabeth Kubik posted nine points.

Alma got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tierston Moore out in front who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Scott, who earned nine points in addition to eight assists and seven steals.

Cambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Alma, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Cambridge nor Alma have any future games scheduled.
