Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilson Memorial). They put the hurt on the Staunton Storm with a sharp 16-2 victory on Monday. Considering the Green Hornets have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Wilson Memorial's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-11. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Staunton, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilson Memorial will welcome Alleghany at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Staunton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverheads at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
