Baseball Recap: Passaic Valley Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Passaic Valley's offense. They lost 11-0 to the West Milford Highlanders on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Passaic Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for West Milford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

While Passaic Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
