Van Vleck had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Victoria Cobra HomeSchool Cobra as they made off with a 16-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-2 on Friday.

Van Vleck's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Victoria Cobra HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Van Vleck will challenge New Waverly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Victoria Cobra HomeSchool, they will square off against Rice Consolidated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
