Preview: Montcalm Generals vs. Mount View Golden Knights
Montcalm is 0-10 against Mount View since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Montcalm Generals will head out on the road to challenge the Mount View Golden Knights at 6:45 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in West Virginia (Montcalm is ranked 82nd, while Mount View is ranked 102nd).
Last Tuesday, Montcalm lost to River View at home by a decisive 63-48 margin.
Meanwhile, Mount View was beaten by River View 62-34 on Friday.
Montcalm bumped their record down to 5-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Mount View, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Things could have been worse for Montcalm, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 48-34 loss to Mount View in their previous matchup back in February of 2022. Thankfully for Montcalm, Tony Bailey (who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
