Weston extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 3-6. They were dealt a 62-0 loss at the hands of the Brookfield Bobcats. The shutout was out of character for the Trojans seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in October.

Timothy Martin threw for 142 yards on 12 of 36 attempts. Alex Mandujano was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

As for Brookfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Brookfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Alger led the charge by rushing for 90 yards and one TD. Those 90 rushing yards gave Alger a new career-high. Another rusher making a difference was Matt Ackerly, who rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown.

Weston and Brookfield will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Trojans see the field they'll take on Joel Barlow at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Brookfield, their break will end when they face Bethel at 6:00 p.m. on the 26th.
