Volleyball Recap: Dover Comes Up Short

Dover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Sparta Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on April 3rd.

Dover's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Sparta, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Dover will face off against rival Pope John XXIII at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sparta is set to square off against their familiar foe Vernon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
