Flag Football Recap: Fayette County Sets Scoring Season-High Against Griffin

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fayette County). They blew past the Griffin Bears 42-0 on Thursday. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 28-point advantage.

Fayette County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average over those games. As for Griffin, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Coincidentally, Fayette County and Griffin will both be playing Starr's Mill the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
