Soccer Game Preview: Skiatook vs. Glenpool

The Skiatook Bulldogs will face off against the Glenpool Warriors at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skiatook is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Skiatook had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the ten-goal drubbing they dealt Miami on Tuesday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Wardogs with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Skiatook, who have now won six games by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Glenpool fell victim to Holland Hall and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Dutch, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Glenpool haven't been shut out since back in February.

Skiatook pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those three contests. As for Glenpool, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Skiatook couldn't quite get it done against Glenpool in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
