Basketball Recap: Wise Piles Up the Points Against Duval

It's playoff time, and Wise had no trouble coming through when it counted. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the DuVal Tigers 61-20. The Pumas have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 27 points or more this season.

The win was the third in a row for Wise, bringing their record for this year to 12-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points over those games. As for DuVal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Coming up, Wise will face off against Flowers on Monday. Flowers knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Wise likes a good challenge. DuVal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
