Football Recap: Maranacook Comes Up Short

Maranacook fell victim to Freeport and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Falcons 42-0. The Black Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Maranacook's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Freeport, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Maranacook will square off against Maine Central Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Freeport, they will challenge Poland at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
