Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wenatchee). They put the hurt on the Ellensburg Bulldogs with a sharp 12-2 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Lily Smith was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Wenatchee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in three consecutive games.

Wenatchee's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 15.4 runs this season. As for Ellensburg, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.
