Cedaredge posted their closest win since November 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Grand Valley Cardinals 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won three in a row.

The win didn't come easy: Grand Valley scored at least eight points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 25-22, 20-25, 15-8.

Cedaredge found their leader in sophomore Oliva Blair, who had 20 assists and six digs. Those 20 assists set a new season-high mark for Blair.

Cedaredge's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for Grand Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.
