Softball Recap: Plainwell Takes a Loss

Plainwell lost against Hopkins on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Plainwell came up short against Hopkins, falling 11-3. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plainwell saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Preuss, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Plainwell now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hopkins, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plainwell will take on Galesburg-Augusta at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hopkins, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Wyoming at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
