Softball Recap: Bremond Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bremond, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Rosebud-Lott Cougars on Tuesday as the Bremond Tigers made off with a 12-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won three matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Bremond now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rosebud-Lott, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bremond Tigers duke it out with Granger Lions at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. Granger is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Rosebud-Lott, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chilton at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th. Rosebud-Lott has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
