Soccer Game Preview: Snow Hill vs. St. Michaels

The Snow Hill Eagles will venture away from home to take on the St. Michaels Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Snow Hill has given up an average of 2.7 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Snow Hill's offense. They lost 8-0 to Bennett on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for Snow Hill in their meetings with Bennett: they've now lost seven in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Michaels). They put the hurt on Colonel Richardson with a sharp 4-1 win on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded St. Michaels with their most commanding win of the season.

Snow Hill now has a losing record of 3-4. As for St. Michaels, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Snow Hill was able to grind out a solid win over St. Michaels when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
