Ridgefield lost to R.A. Long back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spudders fell 5-2 to the Lumberjacks. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Ridgefield's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 7-7-2. As for R.A. Long, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

While Ridgefield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
