Eastridge put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Churchville-Chili Saints by a score of 54-47. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked tenth, while the Saints are ranked 382nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Saints players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Erin Marone, who posted 11 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mercy Payne, who put up ten points.

Eastridge pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Churchville-Chili, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Eastridge will host Edison Tech at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Churchville-Chili, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spencerport at 7:15 p.m. on January 28th.
