Greeneview entered their tilt with Northeastern on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Jets. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by just one run.

Ryver Sweet made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Sweet wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Reynolds, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Greeneview hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in four consecutive matches.

Greeneview pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Northeastern, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Greeneview will venture away from home to challenge Catholic Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rams are facing the Irish at the right time seeing as the Irish are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. Northeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
