Football Recap: Quincy Orioles vs. Stockbridge Panthers
Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 28-7 to the Stockbridge Panthers.
Stockbridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zac Rogozinski led the charge by rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 131 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. That's the most rushing yards Rogozinski has posted since back in October of 2023. Brandon Hamlett was another key player, gaining 168 total yards and two touchdowns.
Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Stockbridge, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quincy will face off against Bronson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stockbridge, they will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Sand Creek at 7:00 p.m.
