Football Recap: Armada Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Imlay City last Friday, Armada came back down to earth. The Tigers were dealt a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Frankenmuth Eagles on Friday. The Tigers were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Despite the loss, Armada still got an impressive performance from Jackson Malburg, who rushed for 110 yards and a pair of scores. Malburg's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards.

Armada's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Frankenmuth, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Armada didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-10 loss against Richmond on the 31st. As for Frankenmuth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 56-0 victory against Yale on the 31st.
