Stone Ridge Christian and Big Valley Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Stone Ridge Christian had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost eight in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Annika Rumble, who had seven digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Stone Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Big Valley Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 26-9.
