Baseball Game Preview: High School of the Future vs. Bodine

High School of the Future is 0-3 against Bodine since April of 2022 but things could change on Wednesday. High School of the Future will take on Bodine at 3:15 p.m.

High School of the Future came up short against Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech on Thursday, falling 20-4. That's two games in a row now that High School of the Future has lost by exactly 16 runs.

Meanwhile, Bodine put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Sankofa Freedom Academy get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Fans of Bodine have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Bodine got a massive performance out of Jaydn Parker, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two hits gave Parker a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Thomas Becker, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Bodine always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .682 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

High School of the Future's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bodine, their record is now 3-0.

High School of the Future might still be hurting after the 21-7 loss they got from Bodine in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can High School of the Future avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
