Basketball Recap: Dalton Academy Takes a Loss

Dalton Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Gordon Central Warriors, falling 84-46. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 79-42 loss last Friday.

Dalton Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Gordon Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-8.

Dalton Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gordon Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Coosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
