Softball Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wells on Monday, Freeport came back down to earth. The Falcons lost 13-3 to the York Wildcats on Wednesday. The Falcons have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Freeport saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Piper Larochelle, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for York, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

As of now, neither Freeport nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
