Volleyball Recap: South Central Takes a Loss

South Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the St. Paul Flyers. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Flyers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Central took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-21.

Autumn Fry paced South Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Fry got some help from Keragin Gray and her 24 assists. Isabella Kimberlin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Paul, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

South Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lucas on the 30th. As for St. Paul, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Columbian on the 2nd.
