Football Recap: Laguna Creek Takes a Loss

Laguna Creek fell victim to Monterey Trail and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Mustangs. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Laguna Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Monterey Trail, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Laguna Creek wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-0 loss against Tokay on the 20th. As for Monterey Trail, they have also already played their next contest, a 40-38 defeat against Pleasant Grove on the 23rd.
