The Minor Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Minor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 31.8 points per game this season.
Minor came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against Ramsay, falling 56-26. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Dominic White, who picked up 175 receiving yards and one TD. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards. Tommie Burts was another key player, having thrown for 317 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Mortimer Jordan played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 34-14 to Fort Payne. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.
Minor will have to keep a close watch on Tanner Rice and Kason Reno, a pair of players who had a big impact on Mortimer Jordan's prior game. Rice rushed for 75 yards and one score, while Reno picked up 84 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Having lost for the first time this season, Minor fell to 4-1. As for Mortimer Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
