Fairland entered their tilt with River Valley on Friday with 14 consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with 15. They breezed past the River Valley Raiders to the tune of 82-39. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Fairland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brody Buchanan led the charge by going 9-for-14 on his way to 24 points and eight assists. The matchup was Buchanan's fourth in a row with at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Gabe Polcyn, who went 7-for-8 en route to 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Deel, who posted eight points. Brayden Gilmore also deserves some recognition as he scored his first point of the season.

Fairland's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for River Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-21.

Coming up, Fairland will challenge Wheelersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. River Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
