Softball Recap: Alpaugh Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Alpaugh waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Wonderful College Prep Academy Lions 18-4. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 20-4 victory on Friday.

Josefina Guzman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with seven stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kylie Escobar, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Alpaugh was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. They are 7-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Alpaugh's record now sits at 7-9. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-10-1 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Alpaugh nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
