Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Pleasant Tigers vs. Cascade Champions

The Mt. Pleasant Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Cascade Champions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Pleasant is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mt. Pleasant challenged Lewis County on Tuesday. Mt. Pleasant came up short against Lewis County, falling 51-31.

Meanwhile, Cascade played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 43-22 to Community. The contest marked the Champions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Cascade, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

Mt. Pleasant took a serious blow against Cascade when the teams last played back in December of 2018, falling 60-16. Can Mt. Pleasant avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
