Briggsdale and Pawnee are set to face off this Friday at 7:00 PM. Pawnee will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Briggsdale defense that has allowed an average of 54.43 points per game.

Briggsdale brought the heat last game after its low-scoring effort (zero points) in the match before. It was able to grind out a solid victory over Longmont Christian last week, winning 83 - 75. With four TDs, sophomore running back Toby Cockerham was a significant factor in the success. Cockerham has now scored at least one TD in the past five consecutive games.

As for Pawnee, the final score between it and Weldon Valley last week was a 71 - 12 blowout in Pawnee's favor. Senior tight end Tyler Krieger was a big part of the win as his strong performance led the charge (he ran for 90 yards and punched in three touchdowns).

Their wins bumped Briggsdale to 3-4 and Pawnee to 4-3. Briggsdale and Pawnee had some big point totals last week, so we'll see if they bring that energy into this game.
