 McLean County can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent  contest  on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  9-1 margin over the Hancock County Hornets. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for McLean County as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Ayden Rice and  Connor Mitchuson did most of the damage at the plate:  Rice  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while  Mitchuson  scored a  run while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Houston Whitaker, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 McLean County's win bumped their record up to 18-11. As for Hancock County, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-13-1.
 McLean County will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Grayson County at 5:30  p.m. McLean County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game  this season. As for Hancock County, they are on the road again  on Friday to play Muhlenberg County at 5:45  p.m. Muhlenberg County is coming into the  game with three straight  victories at home,  so Hancock County will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
