El Dorado extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jacob Villalobos. The El Dorado Aztecs walked away with a 66-53 win over the Hanks Knights on Tuesday thanks in part to Villalobos, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 25 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sebastian Meraz, who posted 17 points and eight rebounds. Meraz has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played. Martin Gomez was another key player, putting up nine points.

El Dorado is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for Hanks, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
