Volleyball Recap: Pearce Comes Up Short

Pearce lost against Plano last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Plano got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bella Osborn out in front who had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Osborn has posted over her last ten games. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Osborn, who had 25 assists and four digs.

Pearce's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Plano, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Pearce will take on Horn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plano, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Centennial on the 23rd.
